We were elated to find out that the doctor's prediction was correct and after only 12 short days in the hospital our sweet boys were able to come home with us. Although we were nervous for how we would settle into this new reality - it has been a wonderful week so far being able to have our boys at home with us instead of driving to the hospital and signing into a unit to do so.

the nursery - the calm before the storm
So here are a few shots from the week that has been. Really, it is not different from most of you who have one child - just in triplicate. We had the same surreal experience of driving away from the hospital -- we just looked more absurd doing so with the 3 car seats in the mini-van.

When we "finally" were home we got the chance to take a picture with all three together. Since Evan was in a different pod from Charlie & Ray at the hospital and they were hooked up to monitors, we hadn't been able to do that so far. If I do say so myself - it did make for a pretty nice photo-op.

This week, we've had many small firsts. Not the least has been adjusting to the nighttime feedings at 2 and 5 AM. I hope we can continue to keep up our sense of humor as not having contiguous sleep can definitely wear on you after a few days! Enjoy the pictures below.
